It became significant and clear to Regis that staff, like customers, needed to be trained to truly understand Scotch whisky to be able to appreciate it or sell it. Since then Regis has spent much of its time educating everyone he encounters along his path. Today you too can get training from Regis in a number of different ways.

Regis, provides whisky training directly and indirectly through all of his services: from Corporate Entertainment events given to audiences with all levels of experience in whisky appreciation, to the Regis Whisky Clubs and his Whisky Tours and Whisky & Golf Tours.

The purpose of these events is entertainment, however Regis also offers more formal training. Choose from the following options and get in touch to get your knowledge increased in a matter of hours.

  • 4 hours crash course and small tasting for Bar and Hotel Staff, the program is delivered with in the group work premises, all props and equipment and written material are provide as part of the course.

  • Corporate Whisky Training work well following the same format as bar staff as part of a team building exercise where it is guarantee to be the talk of the night.

  • Three day Course On Location in Whisky Territory (Speyside) as provided to Hit Scotland for their Emerging Talents and Scholarship Students working within Scotland's service industries.

  • A 4 hours course is provided by Regis during the United Kingdom Bartenders Guild "UKBG" Scottish Education Course provided in Edinburgh throughout the year since 2006.
